Spider-Man

THE MACHINE

About Spider-Man

Your friendly neighbourhood pinball machine has arrived! Designed by the legendary Steve Ritchie, Stern’s Spider-Man is widely considered one of the greatest fan-layout games ever created. Drawing inspiration from the original Sam Raimi trilogy, this machine puts you in the web-shooters of Peter Parker as he battles his four most iconic cinematic villains.

The playfield is a masterpiece of kinetic flow, featuring a motorized Doc Oak that grabs balls with magnets, a vibrating Sandman target that rises from the streets, and a swinging Green Goblin hovering over the pumpkin bombs. Players must defeat each villain through multiple stages to qualify for the high-stakes Battle Royale and the Ultimate Super Hero wizard mode.

Why Play It?

Praised by the pinball community for its ‘buttery smooth’ ramps and addictive ‘one-more-game’ feel, Spider-Man is a masterpiece of shot geometry. Whether you’re trapping balls in Venom’s web or racking up combos at light speed, the game perfectly captures the adrenaline of swinging through New York City.

Come test your skills and see if you’re brave enough to defeat the Sinister Four and prove that with great power comes great pinball!

You can find a summary of the rules below.

Main Objectives:

> Defeat the Villains: Each villain has three modes, completing all three for a villain defeats them.

> Earn Battle Royale: Defeat all four villains once to light the 4 ball mini-wizard mode.

> Reach Super Hero: Complete all modes for every villain three times to reach the final wizard mode.

> Shot Multipliers: Complete the white arrows to light a mode, the next major shot you hit become a 2x multiplier for the rest of the ball.

Key Mechanics:

> Spider-Sense: Hit the three sense stand-up targets on the right to light the spider-sense shot. This acts as a mystery award and can add a ball during multiballs.

> Combo Multipliers: Chaining shots together builds a combo metre. Collecting 50 combos in a single game qualifies a Combo Multiball.

> Centre Post: This machine features a physical post between the flippers that can be raised to prevent drain shots down the middle
