Prepare to enter Mega-City One! Judge Dredd is a widebody powerhouse from the golden era of Bally/Williams. Designed by Barry Oursler and based on the iconic British comic, this four-flipper machine is a visual and mechanical marvel. It is famously recognized by its massive Deadworld planet—a rotating locking mechanism that physically traps balls for the high-octane “multiball crime spree.”

The playfield is packed with justice-serving features, including the “Sniper” tower, high-velocity gold-colored ramps, and the “Air Chase” magnetic ball lifter. Players must work through nine different “Crime Scenes” to take down the Dark Judges and qualify for the ultimate Ultimate Sentence wizard mode.

Main Objectives:

> Defeat the Four Dark Judges: Battle Fear, Fire, Mortis, and Death by completing specific modes.

> Become Judge of the World: This is the ultimate wizard mode, reached by completing all Chain Features and defeating the Dark Judges.

> Multiball Mastery: Utilise the Deadworld planet to lock balls and trigger the high scoring 6-ball multiball.

Key Mechanics:

> Deadworld & The Planet Ring: A large rotating planet. Shooting the left ramp sends the ball into the planet’s locking ring. Lock 3 balls to start the 6-ball multiball. 

> Chain Features: Shoot the centre ‘Subway’ or the left ram when the yellow ‘Chain’ light is flashing to start one of the 9 modes. Completing these modes is a primary way to progress toward the Wizard Mode.

> The Four Dark Judges: Specific shots light ‘Judge’ icons. Once a Judge icon is lit, shoot the Subway to start a battle.

> Judges Bade: Complete the J-U-D-G-E rollovers at the top of the playfield to increase your bonus multiplier. 

> Fire/Missile Launch: The manual plunger is a ‘Gold Eagle’ handle. Press the button to launch balls or to fire ‘Missilies’ during specific Video Modes or Multiball Jackpots.
